Professional Mentorship Program

Home / Mentorship / Professional Mentorship Program

The UO PRSSA Professional Mentorship Program is for dues-paying members. The program aims to connect public relations professionals with current public relations students. Through one-on-one mentoring, students build their professional network and gain valuable insight about the public relations industry from experienced professionals.

To participate in the program, students are required to have served as a mentor in the peer mentorship program over the past year and be a UO PRSSA dues-paying member. We offer the Professional Mentorship Program once per year in the spring.

Meeting Summary Report Form

After face-to-face meetings with their professional mentor, students are required to submit two summary report forms at a minimum throughout the length of the program. This helps PRSSA leadership gather feedback about the program and hear about what pairs are discussing in their time together.
