Chapter President
Karrigen Hanson

Karrigen is our PRSSA Chapter President and helps lead weekly executive board meetings, oversees all chapter activities like events, fundraisers, and provides support to the rest of the executive team. Majoring in PR, Karrigen has various experiences in the communications field from Social Media Management to experience with internal marketing plans at Design Agencies. Now, she works as a client services assistant at an advertising agency and plans to move to Boise, ID full time after graduation to pursue her career within the agency.

Chapter Vice President
Maggie Delaney

Maggie Delaney serves as Vice President of UO PRSSA. Her current role has a heavy emphasis on professional development. She is in charge of planning and executing the professional development tours the chapter attends. Outside of PRSSA, she’s involved in Allen Hall Public Relations, Ethos Magazine, and is the Marketing Student Assistant at the Knight Campus Graduate Internship Program.

Director of Programming
Jillian Gray

 

Jillian serves as the PRSSA Programming Director, enriching meetings with inspiring guest speakers each week. Outside of PRSSA, Jillian works as an account supervisor at Allen Hall PR and as an editorial & social media intern for the School of Journalism and Communications. In her free time, you can catch Jillian reading fantasy books and drinking iced chai tea!

Director of Finance
Rebecca Chiang

Rebecca Chiang serves as the current Financial Director of PRSSA. She is a junior majoring in Public Relations and double minoring in Science Communication and Business Administration. Outside of PRSSA, Chiang is an Account Executive at Allen Hall Public Relations, where she has the opportunity to gain real work experience in the PR industry. Chiang is striving towards a career that merges her passion for science communication with a career in public relations. No matter what field Chiang ends up in, she wants to produce meaningful, impactful work.

Director of Events
Michaela Taylor

 

Michaela Taylor serves as the Events Director of UOPRSSA. In this role, she plans fundraising events and oversees the Events committee. Michaela is also on the Public Relations and External Education team for the Oregon Accelerator. She has a passion for sports and hopes to work within the sports communications industry where she can apply the skills she has learned in the SOJC.

Director of Communications
Sydney Wolfe

Sydney Wolfe serves as the Director of Communications for UOPRSSA.  In this role, she runs the club’s social media, manages the website, and oversees the Communications Committee. Wolfe is a junior majoring in Advertising with a minor in Digital Humanities. She also serves as a social media content creator for The Daily Emerald’s TikTok and Instagram Reels accounts. After graduating in the spring of 2025 she hopes to find a job working in music or film.
