Welcome to another year with the University of Oregon PRSSA chapter (UO PRSSA)!

The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is a nationally recognized organization with chapters all around the country. Founded in 1974, UO PRSSA is the only chapter in Oregon, and the largest public relations organization here on campus.

UO PRSSA helps students expand their learning beyond the classroom, broaden their networks and launch their careers. Throughout the year, we have bi-weekly chapter meetings and host a variety of networking events each quarter. In addition, members have opportunities to support the work of the chapter and gain practical public relations experience by serving on committees in event-planning, blogging, social media, promotion and design led by the chapter officers.

You don’t have to be a public relations major to join the organization. All majors are welcome and benefit from professional and personal growth. We maintain a strong contact with alumni, faculty and the national PRSSA. UO PRSSA gives students the resources you need to succeed in public relations life before and after graduation. We seek to aid and advance the careers of young aspiring professionals like you.

Join us in another year filled with opportunities for all our members!
